MALAYSIA, October 6, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Robotimize Group supported Hasba Medik at the Northern Regional Conference on Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation 2026, held on 28 September 2026 at the Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah Auditorium in Alor Setar, Kedah. Hasba Medik attended the conference, and Robotimize supported its participation by showcasing VivantePlexus™ solutions alongside the extensive Hasba Medik product range. The conference brought together healthcare personnel from across the northern region of Malaysia to strengthen clinical knowledge and practical standards in the management of spinal cord injury.

"A strong local partner extends what VivantePlexus can reach, and Hasba Medik has built exactly that kind of trust across Malaysia," said Kerry Guo, Founder and CEO of Robotimize Group.

The conference was organised by the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah (HSB), and officially launched by Dr Nor'Aishah binti Abu Bakar, Kedah State Health Director (Pengarah Kesihatan Negeri Kedah), at the HSB Auditorium. It was designed to strengthen the knowledge and skills of healthcare personnel involved in managing patients with spinal cord injury, covering clinical assessment, medical and rehabilitation management, complication prevention, and a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. The aim was to provide continuity of care for patients with spinal cord injury across every recovery phase, from acute hospital treatment through to rehabilitation and long-term community reintegration.

Participants heard from a panel of speakers experienced in their respective fields, with discussions spanning many key aspects of spinal cord injury management, deepening understanding and supporting more comprehensive, continuous patient care. The conference also served as a platform to strengthen collaboration across disciplines and healthcare facilities, in a shared effort to improve rehabilitation services for patients with spinal cord injury across the region.

The conference carried particular significance for the northern region of Malaysia, serving as a platform to help standardise and elevate care protocols for spinal cord injury across the area. By bringing together regional specialists, including doctors, therapists, and technology providers, the event placed emphasis on helping patients move from survival toward functional independence within their communities.

Hasba Medik is a Malaysian medical device company specialising in prosthetics, orthotics, and rehabilitation technologies, with longstanding relationships across healthcare institutions in Malaysia. Through its strategic partnership with Robotimize, Hasba Medik supports clinical access to rehabilitation robotics and related technologies for healthcare providers across the country, extending that access through distribution, product education, implementation support, and technical service. That established network made Hasba Medik well placed to attend a conference bringing together healthcare personnel from across the northern region, and Robotimize joined in support of that presence.

At the conference, Robotimize supported Hasba Medik by showcasing VivantePlexus™, its integrated rehabilitation technology ecosystem, alongside the comprehensive Hasba Medik range of prosthetic, orthotic, and rehabilitation products. VivantePlexus™ is designed to support clinician-led rehabilitation, functional training, and technology-enabled care pathways, placing it within the same multidisciplinary approach to patient care that ran through the conference programme. The presence of both organisations reflected the emphasis placed across the conference on bridging doctors, therapists, and technology providers in pursuit of more coordinated spinal cord injury care, from acute treatment through to long-term community reintegration.

For Robotimize, the conference setting underscored why this kind of regional presence matters. Spinal cord injury care spans hospital wards, outpatient therapy, and long-term community support, and reaching healthcare providers in Kedah and the wider northern region depends on partners such as Hasba Medik, who maintain established relationships with hospitals across Malaysia. Conferences of this kind, bringing together healthcare personnel who manage spinal cord injury day to day, offer a direct view of where rehabilitation technology can be of most use in clinical practice.

"Spinal cord injury care depends on coordination between hospitals, therapists, and technology partners, and partners like Hasba Medik help bring that coordination into reach across the region," said Even Koh, Group General Manager, Robotimize Group.

It is hoped that the knowledge and experience shared at the conference will be carried back into clinical practice by the healthcare personnel who attended, furthering the shared goal of improving the quality of care and quality of life for patients with spinal cord injury. Robotimize and Hasba Medik look forward to continuing to support the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah and the wider healthcare community in northern Malaysia, as part of that ongoing effort.
